Theoretical Weight(kg/m) |
To calculate the weight per meter for a pipe, you need to use the following formula: (OD-WT)*WT*0.02507, where both the outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness (WT) are in millimeters. This formula will help you determine the weight per meter of the pipe accurately. Make sure to input the correct values for OD and WT to get an accurate result. |
Note:
OD is the specified outside diameter.
WT is the specified wall thickness
There is no need for pickling stainless steel pipes if bright annealing is employed, as it eliminates the requirement for scale removal.
