Theoretical Weight(kg/m) |
To calculate the weight per meter of a pipe, you need to know both the outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness (WT) in millimeters. The formula for this calculation is (OD-WT)*WT*0.02491. This formula takes the difference between the outer and inner diameters (which is equal to the wall thickness) and multiplies it by the wall thickness and a conversion factor of 0.02491. The resulting value is the weight per meter of the pipe. |

To ensure the quality of stainless steel pipes, it is essential to remove the scale through the process of pickling. However, if bright annealing is being used, pickling is not required. This is because the bright annealing process itself is sufficient enough to ensure that the pipes are free of any scale and are ready to be used. Therefore, it is vital to use the appropriate treatment method depending on the specific requirements of the steel pipes to achieve the desired result.
We will provide plain ends that are cut and deburred. If you need threaded ends or ends beveled for welding, please specify your requirements so that we can accommodate them accordingly.
